About Us

TheraJect, Inc. is a Silicon Valley–based materials innovation company dedicated to accelerating the discovery, optimization, and deployment of advanced materials essential to technological leadership and global supply-chain resilience.

Originally founded in biotechnology, TheraJect has evolved into a next-generation AI/ML–driven materials R&D platform focused on rare earth elements, permanent magnets, semiconductor materials, and battery technology.

Our mission is to integrate AI-driven discovery, quantum-accurate simulation, and international strategic collaboration to enable rapid breakthroughs in materials science.

What We Do Today

TheraJect develops and operates a unified materials discovery platform that combines:

• Generative AI (VAE, GAN, diffusion models)
• Graph neural networks and transformer architectures
• High-throughput DFT simulation workflows
• Multi-objective optimization for stability, magnetics, cost, and manufacturability

TheraJect’s innovations support both U.S. national priorities (critical materials, CHIPS & Science, clean energy) and global industry needs in Korea, Japan, and Europe. The platform is applied across multiple strategic materials domains, including rare earth elements and magnets, semiconductors, and advanced battery systems, supporting both U.S. national priorities and allied industrial innovation.

Prior to its current focus on advanced materials, TheraJect originated in biomedical engineering, where its founder led the development of dissolving microneedle technologies supported by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This earlier technology platform was successfully licensed out for commercialization.
